Sister In Law...

Forgive the late post but, technically it's still Saturday.

The reason for the late post is because I'm traveling over 200 miles to go shopping for a wedding dress with my future Sister in Law. 

I'm so excited to have another sister! 

My future Sister in Law is beautiful, sweet, and loves the color purple! She has an eclectic style and most of all she has an awesome laugh that's infectious.

I can't wait for the big day to see friends, family, eat delicious food, and enjoy watching everyone drunk on life.

May your Saturday be filled with infectious laughter.

Out of Sorts...

Have you ever had a day/week in which you were just off? My family including "Baby Puppy" all seem to be out of sorts this week. This move has turned our family upside down and inside out.

Out of sorts getting ready for a new school year...

Out of sorts driving 200 miles one way to get to an actual mall to buy these rad shoes!!

Out of sorts driving in rush hour traffic for the very first time... Um... holy bat shiz... crazy these drivers are nuts!

Out of sorts staying with my Nana. She lives in the valley of the sun where it's 120 degrees and she is cold. The thermostat is set to 80 degrees and it feels like 120 degrees inside her house. Love her to death but I'm melting like the witch from the Wizard of Oz.

Out of sorts not getting to see my boyfriend this week. He's in corn country checking out colleges... Definitely too far away for my liking.

Out of sorts dealing with Siri... She is spell checking  the living daylights out of me and throwing random thoughts like "tossed foot"into my blog... "Tossed foot!?!"

Moving...

Do you know how much I love moving? About as much as I love being under the weather! I've had the pleasure to experience both on this beautiful Saturday Morning!

I'm amazed at the production involved to prepare for a garage sale. My parents and I have been preparing for 2 days... and for what... to sell an item for the low, yes, low price of $1. When I think about it I'd rather be preparing for this garage sale then nominating my family for an upcoming episode of Hoarders!

So... I'm taking a day off to help with this fantastical garage sale...

and to prepare for an AWESOME move to a new house!

Friendship...

Have you ever mourned a friendship? Friendships can be the best thing that ever happened to you... Or they can be the biggest heartbreak in your life.

When I think back to kindergarten I can recall my very first friend. She looked just like Matilda. I believed she would be my best friend forever. Little did I know she would be the first of many friends to move away. 

This would be a theme throughout my young life, me finding a best friend on the planet, and then after a school year they'd move away.

Friendships  or shall I say girls are strange beast. It takes two to nurture the relationship. For the last 5 years I find myself stuck in a Progressive commercial with the "Friend Suckers". These are the girls that believe that QUANTITY is better than QUALITY. You believe they have your back all the while they are being cold, calculating, yes... "The Friend Suckers"!!!

In the fifth grade I prayed to the friendship gods and they FINALLY delivered. My best friend is Brandee and she's been by my side through some awesome adventures, heartache, loss, and mischievous times. 

I'd rather go through life with one AWESOME friend the 20 so-so friends.
