Dose of Reality...

Life just got real....

Dorm room assignment complete. Ya... right? Healthy slap of reality to the face. Time is drawing near for me to make my way down the hill. My roommate a username for now. I have no clue who she is or even know her name. Her profile was short and simple. She wants a degree and it’s her first time away from home.  Lots of questions right... eh... um... ya?!?

I decided on a room with just two girls instead of a room with four. I figured I could navigate or manage any drama or issues with just one person instead of four. My issue is the dorm floor my college major is assigned had only three rooms with two beds. After looking at the other potential roommate profiles, my new roommate won out because of simplicity. 

Yes, my mother falls into this category!

Truth be said... it was my mother’s doing! I suppose checking email should be on my list of daily to do's. Unfortunately... it's not. The college sent the email regarding room selections and I had until midnight to make my selection. Thank goodness my mother is nosy type (in a good way of course) and saw the email. She picked the room based on location not realizing someone was already assigned in the room.

All things happen for a reason. At least that's what I'm told. 

Late post... for a great reason! Tony is in town for the holiday weekend. A nice surprise and dinner at our favorite joint!
