Shopping trip to Flagstaff had us taking a road trip this week. It's amazing what you see when you're cruising down the I-40.
Wigwam Hotel we found Mater the tow truck in the parking lot.
Um okay... So, I wasn't excited to see smoke stacks but it was on the way.
We had to stop to visit Geronimo to see the tallest petrified tree.
It stands about 10ft tall and next to it...
Tipee...
A step back into a simple time.
Back on the road... A train! Yep we still have these chugging down the tracks.
Then to see a perfectly preserved Meteorite impact on the earth. Yes, right here in my backyard. This collision was a result of a meteor travelling 26,000 mph and landing in Arizona about 50,000 years ago.
A drive by the city of Winslow and the famous Old Route 66.
Shopping!
