Back to school. A time to reunite with your friends after a long *cough* short *cough* summer. A time to welcome sleepless nights and waking up early. Awe what the cuss! Yes, School...
This week I had the pleasure of going back to school. It was different though considering that I'm now a Junior. No longer a underclassman... and I now have the privilege of getting to go off campus for lunch. Finally, the only downside is most of friends don't have their driver's license.
I'm extremely thankful though to have my friends in my class. How else am I supposed to get through a 50 minute Math lesson without a distraction? Long live distracted friend syndrome!
Anyways, it's really not that bad considering 4 of my classes are electives, unfortunately there's about the same amount of homework from three "REAL" classes. THREE CLASSES!!!
I haven't made up my mind and I'm still on the fence as to whether or not my teachers are on a mission. You know the the mission of you can't have a life once you leave the school grounds. The mission of ensuring our week nights and weekends are consumed with homework.
I have at least one teacher that seems to be empathetic to our plight. I about hit my head on my desk when he said, "I think you're all as tired as me right now, considering the sleepy eyes and lack of communication today. So how about we just do review?" Score! Review in Pre-Calculus and no morning pop quiz. It's amazing how the word review can just make my day!
Wishing you a happy Saturday filled with LIFE... hopefully no homework, and plenty of sleep.
